First pouring of circular concrete in Belgium – from 30,000 tons of rubble to 30,000 tons of new, high-grade concrete
ZIN sets great store by sustainability and is the first building that extensively applies the principles of circularity and Cradle-to-Cradle. On 11 June, the first pouring of circular concrete took place at the ZIN construction site using C2C silver certified™ concrete. Many partners, and the press, had noted this significant event in their diary. Befimmo ranks as a pioneer and contributes to a greener construction sector. If you are curious about how the day went and how Befimmo brought it to a successful conclusion, click here for more information.

Assembling cranes with cranes up to a height of 152 metres
The Dufour group assembling four new cranes in April marked the start of a new phase in the project: the reconstruction stage. We bade farewell to De Meuter and welcomed Open Minds, the consortium comprising CFE, BPC, VMA and Van Laere. Open Minds has assumed responsibility for the redevelopment of the two towers and the construction of the central structure connecting the two towers. Curious about how cranes erect cranes?
